INSTITUTO CAMPANA AND ALIANÇA DE MISERICÓRDIA

The Aliança de Misericórdia Community, located in Piracicaba, in the state of São Paulo, receives homeless men from all over Brazil to help them rebuild their lives. The Instituto Campana started an educational and professional collaboration with the association, fostered by Fernando and Humberto Campana, in 2017.

Initially, the Campana Brothers promoted workshops to encourage the participants to work with materials predominantly available in the city. Thus, the collection Tijolo (Brick) was devised with vases and fruit bowls made of clay bricks that have not gone through the drying process. Different shapes and textures are created based on the standard structure of the brick.
